FRANKFORT, Kentucky, Sept. 20 -- The Kentucky Energy and Environment Cabinet issued the following news on Sept. 18, 2024:

Gov. Andy Beshear announced today that applications are being accepted from Kentucky communities, nonprofits and agencies for grants to assess and clean up brownfields through the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) 2025 Brownfields Assessment, Revolving Loan Fund and Cleanup Grants.
