WINDOW ROCK, Arizona, Sept. 17 -- The Navajo Nation Government issued the following news release on Sept. 16, 2024:
On Monday, the 25th Navajo Nation Council unanimously approved emergency Legislation No. 0206-24, which will secure a six-month Continuing Resolution to avoid employee layoffs and continue critical government operations beyond the end of the current fiscal year which ends on Sep. 30, if the bill is signed into law by the Navajo Nation President.
