BECKLEY, West Virginia, Sept. 14 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of West Virginia issued the following news release on Sept. 13, 2024:

Leon Eugene Smith Jr., 43, of Beckley, was sentenced today to 13 years and five months in prison, to be followed by three years of supervised release, for distribution of a fentanyl and violating his supervised release
