TEXARKANA, Texas, Sept. 13 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Texas issued the following news release:
A Texarkana federal inmate has been sentenced to an additional 87 months for trafficking drugs inside the prison, announced U.S. Attorney Damien M. Diggs.
Verlan Perez, Jr., 36, of Dallas, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and buprenorphine and was sentenced to 87 months in fe . . .
