Oklahoma's governor this week set a June 2026 election date for a special election on raising the state's minimum wage (https://www.sos.ok.gov/documents/executive/2126.pdf). The 21-month span between the governor announcing the election date and the election itself is more than six times longer than the median time for all other state question elections . . .
