WASHINGTON, Sept. 11 -- Rep. Linda T. Sanchez, D-California, issued the following news release on Sept. 10, 2024:
Today, the Ways and Means Committee selected Congresswoman Linda T. Sanchez (D-CA) to serve as ranking member of the Subcommittee on Oversight for the remainder of the 118th Congress. She will replace Congressman Bill Pascrell, Jr. (D-NJ), who passed away last month.
Congresswoman Sanchez becomes the first Latina and woman of color to serve as a ranking memb . . .
