WASHINGTON, Sept. 10 -- Rep. Yadira Caraveo, D-Colorado, issued the following news release:

Today, Congresswoman Yadira Caraveo M.D., Ranking Member of the House Agriculture Subcommittee on Commodity Markets, Digital Assets, and Rural Development, led a letter with 48 members of Congress to the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) encouraging an expansion of the Local Food Purchase Assistance Program (LFPA) that is set to expire in April 2025.
