WASHINGTON, Sept. 10 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, issued the following news release:
Today, U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) announced a new investment for the Gallia-Jackson-Vinton Joint Vocational School District to purchase new heavy equipment needed to increase enrollment and provide necessary certification for jobs in the construction industry. The U.S. Department of Commerce's Economic Development Administration awarded $770,718 for the equipment.
