CHARLESTON, West Virginia, Sept. 5 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of West Virginia issued the following news release on Sept. 4, 2024:
Jeff Allen Adkins, 66, of Fayetteville, pleaded guilty today to possession with intent to distribute quantities of methamphetamine and fentanyl.
According to court documents and statements made in court, on May 8, 2022, Adkins was a passenger in a vehicle pulled over by law enforcement officers in Oak Hill. . . .
