DENVER, Colorado, Sept. 4 -- Gov. Jared Polis, D-Colorado, issued the following news release on Sept. 3, 2024:
Today, Governor Polis announced Alec Garnett will be stepping down as Chief of Staff effective on Friday, September 13th, and David Oppenheim, current Deputy Chief of Staff for Legislative and Policy Affairs will step into the role.
