WASHINGTON, Sept. 2 -- Rep. Paul D. Tonko, D-New York, issued the following news release:

ALBANY, NY Congressman Paul D. Tonko (NY-20) today released the following statement on the deaths of six Israeli hostages, including the death of American-Israeli Hersh Goldberg-Polin:

"I am devastated by the tragic loss of Hersh Goldberg-Polin and five additional Israeli hostages in Gaza. When I met Hersh's parents, I pledged to do everything within my power to see them reuni . . .
