TAMPA, Florida, Aug. 29 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Florida issued the following news release:
U.S. District Judge Steven Merryday has sentenced Lennard Rashard Monroe (32, Tampa) to 20 years in federal prison for possessing cocaine with the intent to distribute it and possessing a firearm as a convicted felon. Monroe's co-conspirator, Justin Latrun Farrior, was previously sentenced to 4 years and two months in federal prison.
