WASHINGTON, Aug. 30 -- Sen. Katie Britt, R-Alabama, issued the following news release:
Senator Katie Britt (R-Ala.), as a member of the Senate Committee on Appropriations, locked in $2.5 million for the City of Gadsden in the Fiscal Year 2025 (FY25) Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act. This congressionally directed spending would improve critical drainage infrastructure to mitigate residential flooding in South Gadsden near Gadsden City High School.
