PORTLAND, Maine, Aug. 29 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of Maine issued the following news release on Aug. 28, 2024:
A Massachusetts man was sentenced today in U.S. District Court in Portland for possessing fentanyl with intent to distribute.
U.S. District Judge John A. Woodcock, Jr. sentenced Darwin Mateo, 25, to 36 months imprisonment to be followed by three years of supervised release. Mateo pleaded guilty on March 1, 2024.
