GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan, Aug. 29 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Michigan issued the following news release on Aug. 28, 2024:

U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Michigan Mark Totten today announced that Gull Lake Country Club of Richland, Michigan, has agreed to pay $440,312.50 to resolve allegations in a civil case that it falsely obtained a Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan in 2020 when it was an ineligible nonprofit organization.
