MOBILE, Alabama, Aug. 28 -- The University of South Alabama issued the following news release:
Dr. Darryl James has been named dean of the University of South Alabama College of Engineering. He will begin his appointment Oct. 1.
James comes to South after serving on the faculty at Texas Tech University for more than 30 years.
