Brown Announces New USW Job Training Center In Piketon

WASHINGTON, Aug. 22 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, issued the following news release:

PIKETON, OH Today, U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) joined steelworkers from USW Local 689 to announce the new Appalachian Clean Energy Industrial Training and Assessment Center in Pike County. The training center will prepare local workers with the necessary skills to secure good-paying, union jobs in new energy industries and advanced manufacturing.
