PIKEVILLE, Kentucky, Aug. 21 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Kentucky issued the following news release on Aug. 20, 2024:
The former Fire Chief of the Blackberry Volunteer Fire Department (BVFD) in Pike County, Christopher Chapman, 35, pleaded guilty, on Tuesday, before U.S. District Judge Karen Caldwell to theft of public funds.
