DALLAS Today, the U.S. Department of Commerce announced a $1.6 billion investment in helping Texas Instruments expand operations. The funding, which helps expand operations in Sherman, Texas and Utah, is a result of the bipartisan CHIPS and Science Act, which Congressman Colin Allred (TX-32) championed.
