JACKSON, Mississippi, Aug. 16 -- Gov. Tate Reeves, R-Mississippi, issued the following news release on Aug. 15, 2024:
Governor Tate Reeves today announced that Mississippi student achievement has again reached an all-time high.
According to newly released results from the 2023-24 Mississippi Academic Assessment Program (MAAP), students have now achieved record results in mathematics, English Language Arts, and science.
