W.Va. U.S. Attorney: Kanawha County Man Sentenced to Prison for Fentanyl Crime

CHARLESTON, West Virginia, Aug. 8 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of West Virginia issued the following news release on Aug. 7, 2024:

Travell Lamar Johnson, 45, of Big Chimney, was sentenced today to four years and three months in prison, to be followed by three years of supervised release, for distribution of fentanyl.

According to court documents and statements made in court, on June 14, 2023, Johnson sold approximately 3.5 grams of fentan . . .
