WASHINGTON, Aug. 7 -- Sen. Katie Britt, R-Alabama, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senator Katie Britt (R-Ala.), as a member of the Senate Committee on Appropriations, locked in $2 million for the Veterans Recovery Center in Mobile in the Fiscal Year 2025 (FY25) Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education and Related Agencies Appropriations Act. The funds would aid the Center in purchasing equipment to treat veterans battling addiction.
