WASHINGTON, Aug. 6 -- Sen. Roger Wicker, R-Mississippi, issued the following news release:
Senators Roger Wicker, R-Miss., Cindy Hyde-Smith, R-Miss., and colleagues have asked National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) President Charlie Baker to adopt policies that protect women's sports. Specifically, the senators have asked Baker to update the associate's student-athlete participation policy to require that only biological women can participate in NCAA women's sports.
