Senator Dan Sullivan (R-Alaska) spoke recently on the Senate floor in recognition of Julie Kitka, who served as President of the Alaska Federation of Natives (AFN) for more than three decades until recently stepping down from that position. Sen. Sullivan recognized Kitka's leadership at the helm of the largest statewide Native organization in Alaska, representing 140,000 people and nearly 200 tribe . . .
