WASHINGTON, Aug. 5 -- Rep. Daniel Kildee, D-Michigan, issued the following news release:

FLINT--Congressman Dan Kildee (MI-08) issued the following statement on the passing of former Genesee County Land Bank Executive Director, Doug Weiland:

"I'm heartbroken to learn of the passing of my longtime friend, Doug Weiland.

"Doug was a true public servant. When mid-Michigan needed him, he stepped up to service as Executive Director of the Genesee Count . . .
