Wake Forest University School of Medicine Receives $300,000 Grant to Address Stress-Related Disorders

WINSTON-SALEM, North Carolina, July 30 -- Wake Forest School of Medicine issued the following news release:

Wake Forest University School of Medicine has been awarded a $300,000 grant from The Whitehall Foundation to support research for predicting stress-related disorders. This three-year grant will build on existing research to help improve diagnosis, prevention and treatment.

Stress is a key driver of mental health disorders, which affect more than 50 million adults . . .
