HARTFORD, Connecticut, July 27 -- Gov. Ned Lamont, D-Connecticut, issued the following news release:

Governor Ned Lamont and Lt. Governor Susan Bysiewicz are congratulating the athletes from Connecticut who have qualified to compete in the 2024 Summer Olympic Games and Paralympic Games in Paris, France, and are wishing them the best in their competitions.

The 2024 Summer Olympic Games begin July 26, and the 2024 Paralympic Games begin August 28.
