LANSING, Michigan, July 17 -- Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, D-Michigan, issued the following news release on July 16, 2024:
Today, Governor Gretchen Whitmer announced that she will sign an executive order reorganizing Michigan's boards, councils, and committees. The order builds on the governor's commitment to cutting red tape and streamlining government.
