In a time-honored Army ritual, Col. (Dr.) J. Brian Lanier relinquished command of the U.S. Army Institute of Surgical Research to Col. (Dr.) Elisa D. O'Hern during a change of command ceremony July 2 at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston, Texas.
