WASHINGTON, July 13 -- Rep. Elissa Slotkin, D-Michigan, issued the following news release on July 12, 2024:
U.S. Rep. Elissa Slotkin (MI-07) introduced today the No Tax Breaks for Drug Ads Act, which would eliminate tax deductions given to pharmaceutical companies for advertising directly to consumers. U.S. Reps. Angie Craig (MN-02) and David Trone (MD-06) are original cosponsors of the bill and its Senate companion is led by Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH).
