JEFFERSON CITY, Missouri, July 13 -- Gov. Michael Parson, R-Missouri, issued the following news release on July 12, 2024:

Today, Governor Mike Parson announced 12 appointments to various boards and commissions.

Senator Lauren Arthur, of Kansas City, was appointed to the Labor and Industrial Relations Commission.

Senator Arthur currently serves as Missouri State Senator for the 17th District and as a board member on the governing board of University Health. . . .
