PROVIDENCE, Rhode Island, July 5 -- The American Mathematical Society issued the following news release:
The 2024 Wolf Prize in Mathematics has been awarded jointly to Noga Alon of Princeton University and Adi Shamir of the Weizmann Institute of Science, for "their pioneering contributions to mathematical cryptography, combinatorics, and the theory of computer science."
