WASHINGTON, July 3 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture issued the following news release:
July 3, 2024 - The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced that low-income Iowa residents recovering from the impact of flooding beginning June 16, 2024, could be eligible for a helping hand from the USDA's Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (D-SNAP).
Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack said that approximately 4,000 households that may not normally be eligib . . .
