WASHINGTON, June 18 -- Sen. Christopher Coons, D-Delaware, issued the following news release:
Senator Chris Coons (D-Del.) celebrated the Senate's passage of the Fire Grants and Safety Act, which will help local fire departments access funding for training, personnel, and equipment. Several of the grant programs funded in the bill are particularly important to small and volunteer fire departments.
