WASHINGTON, June 13 -- Sen. Cory Booker, D-New Jersey, issued the following news release:
Today, U.S. Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ), a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, issued the following statement on the Supreme Court's ruling in FDA v. Alliance for Hippocratic Medicine:
"This meritless case should have been thrown out long before it reached the Supreme Court. Mifepristone is a safe, effective medication approved by the FDA nearly 25 years ago after a rigor . . .
