ANCHORAGE, Alaska, June 14 (TNSres) -- Pacific Environment posted the following news release on June 12, 2024:
Several environmental groups filed a legal petition (https://www.biologicaldiversity.org/programs/oceans/pdfs/2024-06-12-TAPS-Petition-FINAL.pdf) today asking the Department of the Interior for a new analysis of the climate damage and other harms related to the Trans-Alaska Pipeline System. The petition also calls for a plan to phase down the pipeline's operations.
