WASHINGTON, May 24 -- Sen. John Kennedy, R-Louisiana, issued the following news release:
Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.), a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, announced $12,622,007 in Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) grants for Louisiana disaster aid.
"Hurricanes Laura and Ida struck Louisiana hard, and our communities are still rebuilding. This $12.6 million will go towards Jefferson Parish School System and Lake Charles for their recovery efforts . . .
