LANSING, Michigan, May 23 -- Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel issued the following news release on May 22, 2024:
Yesterday, Ikbahl Singh Machhal, 40, and Shila Devi, 66, both of Three Rivers, waived preliminary examination and were bound over to stand trial in 3B District Court in St. Joseph County on one count each of Human Trafficking - Forced Labor and one count of Human Trafficking Enterprise, announced Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel. Each count is a 10-year felony. . . .
