WASHINGTON, May 21 -- Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Oregon, chairman of the Senate Finance Committee, issued the following news release on May 20, 2024:

Senate Finance Committee Chair Ron Wyden, D-Ore., revealed major gaps in automakers' oversight of forced labor in their supply chains--including two companies that shipped cars or parts to the United States this year that were made with parts from a banned Chinese supplier--as part of a two-year Democratic staff investigation released today.
