WAYNE, Nebraska, May 2 -- Wayne State College issued the following news release:

A new residence hall will be named after Sheila Stearns, college president from 1999 to 2003, and the Morey Hall lobby after Roberta "Mom" Welte, hall director at Morey for more than 20 years.

Wayne State will honor two women from its past with the naming of the College's new residence hall, due to house students for the first time in January . . .
