Senators Jeff Merkley (D-Ore.), Michael Bennet (D-Colo.), and Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.) and U.S. Representatives Yadira Caraveo (D-Colo.) and Gabe Vasquez (D-N.M.) alongside 26 Senate and House colleagues representing Western states - including U.S. Senator Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) - called on the Biden administration to make further investments to address long-term drought caused by climate change.
