WASHINGTON, April 29 -- Rep. Vicente Gonzalez, D-Texas, issued the following news release:
Today, Congressman Vicente Gonzalez (TX-34) announced that $699,023,217 from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2024 will support transit upgrades and expansions throughout Texas this year. Of the total allocation, $18,288,620 of these funds are dedicated to local transit projects in Brownsville, McAllen, Harlingen, and the surrounding areas.
