AUGUSTA, Maine, April 25 -- The Maine House Democrats issued the following news release on April 24, 2024:
A measure sponsored by Rep. Ambureen Rana, D-Bangor, which would create the Recovery Community Centers Fund within the Maine Department of Health and Human Services, was signed into law by Gov. Janet Mills on Monday.
The bill, which received unanimous support from the Legislature's Joint Standing Committee on Taxation, also received funding from the Appropriations . . .
