MCALLEN, Texas, April 16 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Texas issued the following news release:
A 42-year-old San Juan resident has been sentenced for being a felon in possession of multiple firearms, announced U.S. Attorney Alamdar S. Hamdani.
Daniel Garza pleaded guilty Nov. 30, 2023.
Chief U.S. District Judge Randy Crane has now ordered Garza to serve 70 months in federal prison to be immediately followed by three years . . .
