ABILENE, Texas, April 3 -- Hardin-Simmons University issued the following news:

Earlier this spring, Hardin-Simmons student Jeremy Chabarria participated in the College Band Directors National Association's (CBDNA) Southwestern Division Conference Intercollegiate Honor Band. To participate in the band, Jeremy was nominated and then participated in an audition in December. He auditioned as a French horn player and was accepted as the 4th chair out of 8 French horns who auditioned.
