Chavez-DeRemer Helps Secure $1.29 Million for Bend Municipal Airport's New Air Traffic Control Tower

WASHINGTON, March 25 -- Rep. Lori Chavez-DeRemer, R-Oregon, issued the following news release:
After asking the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to allocate needed funding for the construction of a permanent control tower at the Bend Municipal Airport, Rep. Lori Chavez-DeRemer (OR-05) announced the airport will receive $1.29 million from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to invest in the project. This is in addition to the $1.6 million Chavez-DeRemer helped secure last year.
