WASHINGTON, March 13 -- Rep. Colin Allred, D-Texas, issued the following news release:
Today Congressman Colin Allred (TX-32) voted for the Protecting Americans from Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act, a bill which requires ByteDance, a Chinese government controlled company, to divest fully from TikTok to allow the app to continue operating in the U.S. The bill cleared the House with a strong bipartisan vote of 352-65.
