WASHINGTON, March 14 -- Rep. Dan Crenshaw, R-Texas, issued the following news release on March 13, 2024:
Today, the House of Representatives passed the Protecting Americans from Foreign Adversaries Act that, if enacted, will force the sale of TikTok from ByteDance, which is aligned with the Chinese Communist Party. Congressman Dan Crenshaw voted in favor of this bill and is a co-sponsor of the legislation.
The bill does not ban TikTok, and it does not infringe on Americ . . .
