WASHINGTON, March 13 -- Rep. Troy Carter, D-Louisiana, issued the following news release on March 12, 2024:
Today, Congressman Troy A. Carter, Sr. (D-LA) announced that the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) will grant $61,544,718 to New Orleans East through the Neighborhood Access and Equity Program. This is for the Pedestrian and Bicyclist Safety and Mobility project and was made possible through the Inflation Reduction Act that Congressman Carter helped craft and voted for.< . . .
