WASHINGTON, March 9 -- Rep. Troy Carter, D-Louisiana, issued the following news release:
Today, Congressman Troy A. Carter, Sr. (D-LA) announced that the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) will grant $75,187,718 to LA-02 through the Neighborhood Access and Equity Program. The City of New Orleans will receive $61,544,718 for the Connecting New Orleans East for Pedestrian and Bicyclist Safety and Mobility project.
